It has already been an eventful year. John and I met our son and his family in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago. It was great to do this in the month of Feb. and get away from the snow. I had never been there so it was a real treat. We did all kinds of fun things and got in plenty of time with our new granddaughter Holland. She and Lane came back to NM with us to spend a few weeks before going back to China. I will go with her and Holland when they leave. I will spend about three weeks in China. John could not face China again. The traffic was just a bit too much for him. It is sort of like playing a constant game of chicken. We have four other grandchildren that belong to our daughter. They are so much fun. I have to say that retirement is definitely agreeing with me but if I keep up the traveling I may need to find some part time work. Oh well. I would love to hear from some of you.
