Comments:

After 17 years and 7 months of teaching Spanish I am going to collect on my Tennessee Consolidated Retirement Fund. No more high school classrooms for me - finally! I have been a pastor in missions and churches with So. Bapt. work (full time in Texas, Illinois, New Mexico, California until 1978), worked as a data researcher for New Mexico Health Systems agency(1979-1981), investigated motor vehicle accidents for the USDOT (NHTSA/NASS) for 10 years, 5 in Albuquerque, 5 in Memphis (Shelby and Tipton Cos), and taught Spanish in Tennessee for 17 plus years.

School Story:

After high school at RHS, school took me away from Roswell and I have never lived there again since August, 1966. I went to ENMU for 3 semesters, transferred to UNM where I graduated in the exact middle of all graduates in 1970, I met my wife to be in 1969 in Albuquerque, got married 07/11/70 and have remained in this "condition" ever since (next year will be our 44th). I went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Aug of 1970 and graduated with a Master of Divinity in May of 1973. The rest is history you see above under comments.

My favorite story happened when I was real hungry and there was a pep rally on Friday before the big Hobbs-Roswell game. The pep rally had just ended, the bell rang, and I, on the third row bleacher seats, east side, shot off like a horse in race, I must have stepped on a girls back while jumping to the floor to run to the cafeteria, but I did not look back. I was the third in line and did eat. But to this day I do not know who the girl was. I hope she is not reading this....

Hola Tim! Happy Birthday from Portland, TN. I am amazed at what people consider protesting and know that rioting is not it. Anyway, I am praying for our country and cites and states. I pray that God will intervene in the wanton destruction and that His Spirit convinces many to stop doing evil. That's my take and I'm sticking to it. This is supposed to be a birthday wish so I'll get to it. I know we're all getting older, but I hope you continue to stay active and not get lazy like I've been lately with all this corona crap that's been foisted on us. I have been trained in statistical analysis and can tell you that you can make numbers say anything so you can prove a point. All those models have been so flawed. The only one that's right is God. I did it again. You have a great birthday and I hope you and Perrie can get a good T-bone somewhere. Take care and KLUIJICS! Psalm 46.

Happy upcoming birthday, Lindell! I am praying for our nation and that our Lord can enter the heart of each and every person who feels the need to protest. For those that are rioting I pray the Lord stop them in their tracks and help them to understand that they will pay a price for their ill gotten gains. Or here or in the next dimension I don't know but judgment, true judgment and true justice was never something that men could administer apart from the Lord. He says, Vengeance is mine. Hate and anger will not stand against a just God. Enough of that. This is supposed to be a birthday wish. I hope that you will receive many blessings from God. Hope Sue and your kids can join with you. God bless. Take care and KLUJICS! Psalm 46.

Happy Birthday, Molly! How is it in Wichita? Your birthday is just around the corner. Maybe by then you will be free to move about the city as you please. It would be nice on your birthday. Monday, the beginning of the work week will be wide open. May your boys and girls rise up and call you blessed.

Happy Birthday, Karen! I remember sitting in alphabetical order in some classes at RHS and there you would be in the back (or on a side row) with me because our last name starts with a V. I always thought to myself: "that's right and V stands for victory"! Anyway, I saw what Mark suggested and I hope you get a ton of birthday cards. I, too, got into teaching later in life and I enjoyed it when I didn't have to deal with the political and administrative part of it... Have a great birthday, dear and be blessed. KLUICS! Psalm 46.

Dear Debbie, This is a hard note to write. I never knew Burton but I know 54 years together are a lot of years. Your love remains and it will never die. It will continue but in eternity and that is a plane I have never known this side of heaven. But you will join him and know him there and your love will be forever. Words fail at this time. May our Lord wrap you up in his holy arms and comfort you as only He can. John 111:25,26.

Happy Birthday, Claudia! May it be a blessed time of celebration despite the uproar over social distancing. Ray Charles sang, "The world is in an uproar, the danger zone is everywhere" -- one of my favortie songs. He didn't know he was a prophet. Anyway, not one hair of your head nor any part of you will be harmed because you are in the palm of God's hand. God bless you. KLUJICS! Psalm 46.

Happy Birthday, Janet! You are 6 months older but why did it seem in high school days you were so far ahead of me? Perspective is everything. I I hope your birthday is wonderful and you are doing well in Cruces. Enjoy it and the fellowship of your loved ones. Take care and KLUICS! Psalm 46.

Happy Birthday, Janet! I am amazed at the way that people have adapted to what we are all facing with this pandemic. It just feels like we are all in the Twilight Zone and we'll all wake up from a horrible dream. I miss my NM family. I hope you are well and have lot of opportunities to see your grands. Get you some great cake and ice cream and share it with someone - even though it may be at a distance. Take care and KLUJICS!

Happy Birthday, Bob! It's a great testimony to see all the photos of your loved ones on the site. You have invested greatly in their upbringing and it is plain as the nose on our face that they are a source of joy and pride. These days it's rare to see success like that Time. And love. Care and "pruning". You are a blessed man, Bob! Congratulations.
Have a wonderful birthday. Take care and KLUJICS! Remember, "Every good and perfect gift descends from above from the Father of Lights with whom there is no shadow or variation." --James 1:17.

Happy Birthday, Marchelle! It's a good day for a birthday since you should be able to celebrate out of the confining quarantines that have been set up all over the US. It's good to get out but stay safe and distance from those you don't know. Take care and KLUJICS!

Happy Birthday, Dale! I hope you're able to move when and where you want to in Old Hickory, TN. We pretty much go out when we need things, meds, food, and supplies with no fear. Though we have only 2 groceries (and 2 dollar generals) we have not really had any lack. I don't go to KY though I could but decided I wouldn't because of their governor who said he did NOT want Kentuckians to travel and go to Tennessee for any reason. I figured I'd return the favor. Anyway, hope it's been a great one so far. Happy 73rd buddy.
