Comments:

After 17 years and 7 months of teaching Spanish I am going to collect on my Tennessee Consolidated Retirement Fund. No more high school classrooms for me - finally! I have been a pastor in missions and churches with So. Bapt. work (full time in Texas, Illinois, New Mexico, California until 1978), worked as a data researcher for New Mexico Health Systems agency(1979-1981), investigated motor vehicle accidents for the USDOT (NHTSA/NASS) for 10 years, 5 in Albuquerque, 5 in Memphis (Shelby and Tipton Cos), and taught Spanish in Tennessee for 17 plus years.

School Story:

After high school at RHS, school took me away from Roswell and I have never lived there again since August, 1966. I went to ENMU for 3 semesters, transferred to UNM where I graduated in the exact middle of all graduates in 1970, I met my wife to be in 1969 in Albuquerque, got married 07/11/70 and have remained in this "condition" ever since (next year will be our 44th). I went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Aug of 1970 and graduated with a Master of Divinity in May of 1973. The rest is history you see above under comments.

My favorite story happened when I was real hungry and there was a pep rally on Friday before the big Hobbs-Roswell game. The pep rally had just ended, the bell rang, and I, on the third row bleacher seats, east side, shot off like a horse in race, I must have stepped on a girls back while jumping to the floor to run to the cafeteria, but I did not look back. I was the third in line and did eat. But to this day I do not know who the girl was. I hope she is not reading this....

Happy Birthday, Robert! 72 is a great age to start fishing, golfing, hiking, going to Las Vegas, in other words enjoying life and doing what brings you joy. Whatever you choose, put God first and it will be successful. I learned that from my Father, Take care and KLUJICS! Psalm 27:3-4

Happy Birthday, Kent! Hope everything is good for you in Kenner and the great state of Louisiana. Geaux Tigres! It was a great football game although it should have been carried on regular tv. There are lots of kids around here that can't afford ESPN. Anyway, I'm wishing you a great one and hope the Titans beat KC. Enjoy a wonderful one. KLUJICS! Psalm 27:3-4 and Psalm 104.

Happy Birthday, Bruce! Hope you have a great one and many unexpected but great surprises to bless and inspire you during 2020. There is so much behind us now it's tempting just to stay looking backwards but we must keep our eyes forward and concentrate on what's ahead to reach our destination. That destination is what keeps us keeping on. God bless you, Bruce. KLUJICS! Psalm 27:3-4.

Don't know how it happened, but I'm sorry I missed your birthday! Anyway here is a belated wish for you and hope that 2020 will be the best year yet. With your permission, I want to encourage you to be faithful. Faithful to your God, to your purpose and mission, to your family and to yourself. I feel confident in sharing this encouragement with you. I don't know why but I feel I must send this to you. We can all do something to help each other, and that is what I am trying to do. KLJICS!
