Completed MD-PhD Univ NM School Medicine 1980 Internship and residency Internal Medicine Emory Hospital/Grady Hospital Atlanta 80-83, Worked and Board Certified Emergency Med 1991.Staff physician St. Joseph's Hospital 1985 to 2004.Retired for medical reasons 2004.Began teaching at School of Nursing Human Anatomy and Physiology Georgia Perimeter College and science teacher for honors programs in independent study at the Independent Studies Program in Atlanta.( a Program for accelerated High school students in science).
While in college at NMSU was in co-op work phase at LTV Aerospace Corporation working on Apollo 11. With graduation from college and Moon Landing accomplished went to graduate school NMSU and UNM School of Medicine in Microbial Physiology and finished PhD in Immunology and Microbiology UNM School of Medicine.
Did periodic research with CDC in Atlanta and with NASA at Ames research center on Astrobiology Projects related to analysis of Mars data and microbial biofilms.
Married Regina Harrison R.N. in 1985 and currently reside in Atlanta, Ga. No children.
Loved playing golf until 2004 when had heart surgery.
Loved traveling and history, especially Italy and Australia.
Have continued astronomy interest and observing since college but Atlanta poor place to observe compared to New Mexico.

Happy belated Birthday, Dr. Tom! I hope it was the best birthday yet! Being 3/4 of a century old is an achievement to be celebrated. What's weird is the whole class of '65 is right there with you. It's amazing. Anyway, be strong and be of good courage. KLUJICS!
