Comments:

Still here in San Jose, CA. working and very happily living alone with my two chihuahuas. I sew and build Victorian styled lamps with shades. Children all grown and happy. Grandchildren great people that fortunately enjoy their Nana. Don't travel much as walking is hard and I am still heavy. Hope all of you who are still out there are as happy and enjoying the fruit of your labor.

School Story:

Jr. High was the most fun for me. At the end of my sophmore year, my parents divorced and each moved away. I stayed a while on my own living with Maddy Vernagilli until I was forced to move to Calif with my Mom for my Jr. year. I managed to work it out so I could be emancipated and return to Roswell. I so wanted to graduate with my friends, but they had moved on over the year I was gone. I started dating Jan Blackburn who was in college, didn't do much at school and worked to support myself. I had this cuet room I rented and Jan helped me get a car. We moved to CA. upon my graduation, married, had a son and divorced. My best memories are of my Freshman year at North Jr. High. I had good grades, was going steady with Jim Reed and very much in love with him. What no one knew was that my sister and I were being abused. Now that both my parents have passed on and I have as well, I use my childhood experiences for therapy purposes. I believe it makes me a better therapist. I know first hand the experience of the child, the miracle that therapy can be when done well and feel privileged and blessed when I am part of a child's healing process. I also worked with adults who were molested as children. This work is gratifying as well.

I knew Gilbert in HS. He was part of a group that included Bob Bergener, Jim Reed, Gus Lara and others. Always driving an old Merc. if I remember right. Many funniest stories in that car. For a while he drove it with no back seat.

Larry and I took ballroom dancing from Mrs. McEvoy in 6th grade. Had big crush on him. Lost contact as I have no recollection of him in HS.

I just went through the pictures of the classmates and people I also remember from way back before graduation. You had a good eye for pictures and these were some great ones I wil say.

This is better than my 9th grade picture. My Sr. picture didn't make it into the album as I left for part of the year, living in Las Vegas. I did have one taken and when I find it I will post it. Love the before and after pictures.

Here are my babies. Well, they are just a year old so guess I will have to call them my girls. Zoey, the black one and Sammie, the white one really belong to Joannie and Clarissa, but don't tell them that.

First crush, 7th grade, Riley Copple. I have such good memories of him. Always remained a friend and could make me laugh. I was sad to hear of his passing.

My Jr. High BFF, Susan Fry. Lots of late night talks sharing all of our hopes and fears of the future. I was so sad to know she passed too.

My partner in the 6th and 7th grade ballroom dance class. Wonder where he is now? Larry Flannigan.

From the class of 64, Janny Bacon helped me learn the cheer I did when running for cheerleader in 9th grade. Heart break! The real prize turned out to be the friendship with her.

Sleep over with Susan. There were lots of these where we plotted late into the night about meeting and being noticed by what boy was our latest love interest. It changed so often I just put his name on my sterling silver heart on the long chain with tape. Hahaha! lol
